About

Making sense of the noise

I'm Jane Orlova — an International Relations & Political Communication graduate who was born in Russia and became Dutch. Politics has always felt like a puzzle worth solving, and writing is how I make sense of the pieces.

I write about Dutch and international politics, from parliamentary motions to election results, from party dynamics to individual politicians. I believe in data, clarity, and a bit of obsession with getting it right.

When I'm not writing about politics, I'm probably thinking about art.
